The large parking lot is located at 995 McCloskey Road, Fayetteville, NC 28311. There are bathrooms available at the parking lot.

Great for running - wide and stable, though a few spots have deep sand that will give you a workout.
Description
Easy trail with small elevation changes. Very sandy in some areas. Trail is multi-use, so you'll encounter hikers, runners, bikers, and people on horseback. There are benches every so often to provide a place to stop. There are several other trails throughout the park so you can tailor the length of your journey. The trail is well marked and there is a map and information at the trailhead. You can download a map and learn more about Carvers Creek State Park here:

Flora & Fauna
The park hosts native grasses, wildflowers, longleaf pine, mixed pine and hardwoods. Open meadows provide opportunities to see birds and insects. Fox squirrels and a variety of woodpeckers, including the federally endangered red-cockaded woodpecker are common throughout wooded areas of the park.
