Seasonal restrooms open a Shelters 18 and 19 at the top of the trail

The downhill from the Upper Park shelters is often slick and covered in deep leaves.

Fairly steep, straight descent from playground between Shelters 18 and 19 to creek. More gentle climb back up the other side of the creek. Gets close to one of the Shelters on the right shortly before it opens out into the old Day Camp Shelter area.

At this point you can take the Day Camp Connector down to Alice Knight Memorial Trail or the driveway up to the main road to the Upper Park area. You can also run through the Day Camp area and connect to Alice Knight Memorial Trail at the south end of the field (unnamed connector).
