Need to Know

Parking is available just off the forest road in Dunlop Hollow a few hundred feet from the start of the trail. There is an under-construction building (possibly restrooms) near the beginning of the trail.

Description

This trail starts at the mouth of Polly Hollow near the Dunlop Hollow picnic area with a gentle climb initially then mostly level as it runs above and along the creek. About 0.25 miles along this trail is an alternate access that comes up from the dirt road along the creek in Polly Hollow. At about 0.75 miles it begins some pretty steep climbs which pass some interesting rock formations. A little over a mile into the trail it levels out along a ridge for a while before climbing slightly up to end where it intersects Wildcat Ridge Trail.

The trail is blazed with red diamond reflective blazes and is easy to follow.
