In case of rain, there is a sheltered area right at the beginning of the trail. There are no restrooms on the trail but there is an information center with restrooms about 600m from the start of the trail. Next to the info center, there is a sandy beach. You need to buy an online entrance ticket and a parking fee (which isn't the best because it is costly) to gain access to the park.

Gravel trail that is about 1m wide. No roots in the way.

The first half of the trail has a few hills. Then the second half is a slow climb up with no steep terrain. There is a viewpoint that gives a great view of the Fer de Lance marsh and the surrounding mountains. You might see some deer while hiking. The signs say that there is a viewpoint on the Collin du Campeur but it's just a slightly elevated wooden platform with 2 picnic tables surrounded by trees. Maybe in the winter, there is actually a view since there won't be any leaves covering up the view but not in summer. Would recommend the trail just for the view of the marsh.

You may encounter a deer family feeding on leaves next to the trail. They might even cross the trail. From the viewpoint, you may be able to spot ducks, herons and turkey vultures (these are high up in the air). On the trail, you may spot some small birds like black-caped chickadees. Mostly a maple tree forest.
