Description
Trail has a nice parking lot for about 20 vehicles. The beginning of the trail is a little steep, but not long. The yellow loop is the main trail and 3.5 miles start to finish. It passes the pond which has a bench for a relaxing and taking a short break.
The trail is rarely flat, but most of the changes in height are gradual and it is well marked / blazed. This would be a good trail for walking or trail-running. Bikes are not allowed. Pets are permitted if leashed.
If the 3.5 miles of the Yellow loop aren't enough, there are branches (blue, orange, red) and there is even a white loop off the blue-trail. All the branches start from the Yellow loop and return via the blue blazed trail.
Flora & Fauna
Mosquitoes, timber rattlesnakes may be present, lots of toads and newts.
