This loop trail begins at the Big Creek campground and passes a number of peaks and gaps including Sunup Knob, Low Gap, Cosby Knob, Ross Knob, Camel Gap, Camel Hump Knob, Inadu Knob, Yellow Creek Gap, Deer Creek Gap, Old Black, Thermo Knob, Pretty Hollow Gap, and Mount Sterling.

Description

For backpacking, there are a number of places to set up camp including Big Creek Campground, Cosby Knob Shelter, Tricorner Shelter, and campsite 38.
