Thick, medium height grass and weeds choke portions of the trail.
Description
Trail edges are generally marked with rotten logs. Several markers note site where the rare Indiana bat has been found. I would advise against disturbing any nesting sites here. Be prepared to spend several minutes picking seeds from clothing after finishing this trail as portions of it are choked with beggar's lice (Hackelia virginiana).
Flora & Fauna
Indiana bat (Myotis sodalis), White-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus), Wood thrush (Hylocichla mustelina), Ohio buckeye (Aesculus glabra), Black walnut (Juglans nigra), Doll's eyes (Actaea pachypoda), Beggar's lice (Hackelia virginiana).
