All paved.
This begins along Bella Vista Dr, heading north. Run or bike to the start, you could also connect this to the
Coal Creek Trail. There are 17 exercise stations along the way, they are generally in order on your right as you do the loop.
The trail was orginally created as a "Parcourse" (which is what all the signs say) by the original HOA that is now defunct. The course still exists but as of this writing, it could use some TLC. It is known to the City of Louisville as "Hammer's Run".
Follow the course and the stations as they exist, or come up with your own!
- Start at Bella Vista
- Pass exercise station 1 and 2, then stay right on the narrow path to reach station 3.
- Turn left at the intersection until you reach station 4.
- Turn right on the street (Hoover) and go 1.5 blocks to West St, take a right.
- On West, keep an eye out on the left for a path between houses, take that left.
- Pass station 5 on your right, turn left before the elementary school.
- Pass station 6 on your right, staying along the paved path as it goes left, then right until it reaches station 7
- Turn right at station 7, staying on the sidewalk (Hoover again). Pass station 8 on your right until you reach station 9 at the corner of Pine and Hoover
- Cross Hoover to your left, staying on the path until you reach station 10, then turn around and head back.
- At Hoover, turn right on the sidewalk and pass station 11.
- Turn right, on the path between large pine trees and pass station 12.
- Run to the end of the path, turn left once you get to the street (Elm), then turn left again on Sycamore.
- Along Sycamore, cross over to station 14, then turn right on Hoover, left at the crosswalk back the way you came out.
- Return through the park, passing station 15 on your right.
- Return along the path between houses to West St., turn right to return to Hoover, turn left on Hoover the same way you came.
- Along Hoover, turn left on the path the same way you came, passing station 16 on your right.
- Turn right before the grassy area to pass station 17 on your left and continue passing station 18 on your left.
- Arrive back at the start!
