Overview

The Madeira Sky Race is a technical mountain race which consists of steep slopes and trails (4121 D+), a highly technical degree competition within the field of Skyrunning sports.

Description

This race is comprised of some passages which required technical climbing expertise of grade 2 set in a mountain scenery, surrounded both by mountainous and sea cliffs landscapes. The distinct natural landscapes, combined with the diversified biodiversity and geodiversity resources that embodies this race are some of the features that makes Santana one of the most spectacular locations for this sort of sport event.
