Runner Notes

The trail is fairly narrow, so there isn't a lot of room for passing. If it has been raining, the creek will be up and you'll get your shoes wet if you choose to cross the creek.

Description

The Creek Trail departs from the Zinfandel Trail and follows Stevens Creek as it makes its way to the reservoir. This third of a mile trail descends along the hillside above Stevens Creek before reaching a ford, which you can cross easily in low water. If it has been raining, the crossing can be a little trickier.

After crossing the creek, the trail ends at a small parking area/pull out along Stevens Canyon Road. If the water is high, you can run down to the creek and then turn around without crossing.
