Need to Know

The nature park hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Sunday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The park is closed on Monday and Tuesday as well as all major holidays.

This trail is a bare dirt trail with roots and can get muddy after a rain.

Description

This is a short trail in a bottomland forest that features various hardwood trees. There are several areas with protruding roots and tends to get a little muddy right after a rain.

Flora & Fauna

This area is densely populated with various types of hardwoods in this old growth bottomland forests. There is the possibility of seeing many different species of birds as well as few types of small mammals.
