From Sea to Sky Trail follow the sometimes faint trail northeast across the grassy hills. The trail first descends gently, then increasingly steeply. Pass a cattle gate at 0.7 miles and follow the trail into the forest. At 0.9 miles, the trail turns sharply right and then joins a wider dirt road 500 feet later. This dirt road follows the contour line of the valley on your left with only gradual elevation change. Loggers Lament Trail is to your right at 2.9 miles. Reach Sea to Sky Trail after 4 miles.
