Starting from Mist you climb up to Al Jawzi and start by wrapping around the mountain. from here the ascent begins until you crest the hill and cross the first stream. Along the way the views are terrific and after the climb its smooth sailing till you reach the forest. Extremely enjoyable.

The first third of the trail has a lot of climbing but the roads are clear and easy to follow. There are some amazing views. Beware when cresting the last steep hill that you are not supposed to go to the top, otherwise the ravine will be dangerous to cross, just stay low and follow the GPS points and it's an easy crossing. After the ravine the angle kicks back and its fun and smooth all the way to the forest.
