Description

The trail begins at the end of North Hayes Ave, and runs north along the east bank of the Portneuf River. It dead-ends after three tenths of a mile.

Half way through, there is a bridge that crosses the river and takes you into Sacajawea Park and the Millward Mile (Portneuf Greenway). There is a boat ramp for kayaks. You could wade in the river here and cool off on a hot summer day.
