Runner Notes
This is a very steep route, however we did see a couple of trail runners.
Description
Park at Neranwood Park on Gold Coast Springbrook Road. The rail head is just across the bridge on the other side of the road. The trail immediately begins to climb and is quite steep. There isn't a lot to see on this section making it a mental and physical challenge. Once you have reached the top of the ridge the run becomes easier.
At around 4 kilometre mark there is a singletrack to the right of the main track. You can follow this trail to the eastern end of Pages Pinnacle. After a bit of rock scrambling you'll be rewarded with a great view. Pages can also be approached from the west. I haven't yet done the western route but there is mostly likely access to other areas of the Pinnacle from the west. It is also possible to through run this route from Neranwood Park to Scouts Numinbah Campsite.
Flora & Fauna
Outside of the view from Pages Pinnacle this route is not that exciting. Pretty standard Aussie bush.
