Description

Starting from Johnston Canyon Upper Falls, follow the path uphill to the left from the viewing platform. The path remains wide and well-marked through most of the length. Expect some steep climbs as you pass through forested areas.

Towards the end of the trail, the path narrows and splits between the foot and equestrian paths. Stick to the footpaths, but both will lead to the inkpots. You'll see a sign for the inkpots as you arrive.

There is a short path around the inkpots themselves for easier observation. There are a few benches in the area overlooking the inkpots and the nearby river. When you're done, retrace your path to the upper falls.
