Runner Notes
Many roots pass the trail that can make running difficult.
Description
This is a semi-rugged narrow trail through the Black Creek Nature Sanctuary. Along the way you'll pass over marshy wetlands and wind near a creek that travels along ancient stamp sands leftover from early mining. There is one main hill climb that can be tiring, although frequent benches make the run very approachable. Along the trail there is an option to branch to run along Lake Superior beach, or continue deeper into the dense Nature Sanctuary forest.
