Description

This trail connects the PCT: Tuolumne Meadow to Sonora Pass with the West Walker River Trail #046. Leaving the PCT, the trail heads straight for Upper Long Lake and hugs its southern shore. The next mile is somewhat uneventful until views across the West Walker River valley open up. The trail descends steeply with a few switchbacks and reaches the West Walker Cutoff Trail #22050.
