Description

The Observation Blind Trail crosses a conveyance channel to access the marshes north of the North Loop. The trail a very short and easy doubletrack, but the observation blind is well worth the visit during peak birding season (typically fall). The trail continues past the blind to clearings overlooking a second seasonal marsh.

Flora & Fauna

Primarily cranes, geese, black phoebe, American pipit, Bewick's wren, Swainson's hawk, lark sparrow, phainopepla and mule deer.
