The parking area is limited to only a few cars and it doesn't appear to be maintained for winter parking.

Description

This trail starts off the eastern side of Route 7, just north of the Hoosic River. The parking area is limited to only a few vehicles at a time. The trail descends down to the railroad tracks, then turns left (to follow alongside the tracks). The trail travels for a short distance before turning left to the pond. This area has many different types of bird species.
