This is a paved trail. There tends to be quite a bit of goose feces on the trail.

Description

Officially, the trail begins at a gate that reads "Vehicles Prohibited." The trail loops back around to slightly after where it began; therefore, runners will need to turn right after passing the visitor's center and backtrack 30 to 50 feet from where the trail started, although there are multiple access points as there is a parking lot right next to the trail.
