This trail starts off mellow then soon becomes a very steep descent straight down the ridge. Watch for blue squares and black diamonds painted on the rocks of the trail that indicate difficulty of the terrain feature coming up. Ends at Horse Gulch Road. Primarily for mountain bikers, if walking this - use caution.

Commemorates the professional German cyclist Ben Sonntag who was killed in by a car while biking in Durango - a memorial for him is located part way up this trail.
