Park/trails: While Spring House Park is now open to the public from dawn to dusk, the park and trails are still under further development, so this trail is subject to change. Specifically for the perimeter loop, the Southwest section from mile 0.52 to 1.52 has not yet been developed through the forest and is currently routed along the tree line with minimal blazing. Expect to walk through tall grass in the old farmland portions of the trail and pay attention to the weather as the stream crossing at mile 0.42 does not yet have footbridge. The stream crossing at mile 2.41 does have a footbridge.
Parking/restrooms: Temporary parking is in a gravel lot located across from 4146 E. Patterson Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45430. There are no permanent or temporary restrooms on site.
Nearby: After your hike, enjoy a snack, drink, or soft serve ice cream at Jet Freeze located at 4014 E. Patterson Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45430 which is within walking distance of the temporary parking
Description
Perimeter loop is the largest of the three loop trails in the newly opened Spring House Park in Beavercreek, OH.
