Need to Know

Do not use this trail if there is flooding in the creek.

Description

Diverse ecosystems along this trail. Often, water in the creek. Close to Silver City, and yet it feels remote. Great as a loop option when combined with Woodhaul Wagon Road Trail #55, Allie Canyon Trail #100 and the Lockney Road.

Watch for cairns and blazes when the tread is faint.

Flora & Fauna

Ponderosa pines, mixed conifer, aspens, and pinion/juniper
