Description
This trail has sections of grave and dirt (mostly dirt). The trail starts low and has some steep climbs in loose terrain (or muddy if it rains a lot). The majority of the trail is shaded by really old, big and impressive trees of a primary tropical rain forest.
When you reach to the highest point there will be an amazing panoramic view of the Golfo Dulce and the Osa Peninsula. 4x4 vehicles can go through this trail during the dry season but it gets tricky during rainy season (possible but tricky). At the top of the Hill there is a house called "Foundation House". This house was built by Tiskita Foundation to lodge staff working for the foundation on projects related to protection of the rain forest.
Going through this trail it is very likely to see wildlife such as coatis, monkeys, toucans or macaws, among other species.
