Trail running friendly

This trail is a great Sunday stroll! It is mostly flat and easy to follow. The loop starts along the swamp where you can enjoy a blend of different colors, through the waters and the flora. Parts of the trail use a wooden walkway, allowing you to fully immerse into your surroundings. On a sunny day, you can see Frontignan and Sete in the distance – as well as the start of the Pyrenees!

The path then continues to the salty ponds, full of local fishing birds. Finally, you'll make your way back through the Aresquiers Woods, giving you a well deserved break in the shade.

Local fishing birds can be seen. Usually, several flamingos hang in the nearby pond.
