Description

The Pickwick State Park Storybook trail is a short trail that is cut in a field that follows the story of Moth and Butterfly TA-DA! by Dev Petty and illustrated by Ana Aranda. The illustrations from the book are on wood panels that line the trail that tell the story and ask children (and adults) questions to think about as they run through the field.

The trail is located close to the cabins in the park, so you are never far from the road. The trail weaves through the field with limited views of the area around you. Fun questions like "What do caterpillars turn into" are found on the panels, as well as tasks like "Can you find any caterpillars around you," to keep everyone engaged and busy. The trail emerges back at the parking lot where your vehicle is.
