Access to Cedar Creek Trail is only through Sandy River Park (end of Marcy St.) until Cedar Park construction is completed.

Need to Know

The Cedar Park is under construction until fall 2025. Access to the trail is from Sandy R. Park. No access to Cedar Park at other end of trail till then.

Description

The half mile Cedar Creek Trail connects the new Cedar Park (under construction) and the Sandy River Park providing access to the Sandy River, and additional hiking on Jim Slagle Trail Loop.

Flora & Fauna

The trail has the typical Northwest flora and fauna - lots of cedars (hence its name), Douglas fir, hemlock, big leaf and vine maple, sword ferns, oxalis, and some stinging nettle in summer.
