This trail starts off Foster Pond Lookout Trail and heads northward. It crosses over one of the Five Fields Farm trails, and continues down the ridge. It reaches one of the XC Ski trails, and coincides with it for a short distance, before turning off onto its own track. From here, the trail takes on a little rougher bit of terrain (that can be somewhat difficult to navigate).

It crosses a small brook, then crosses another brook (via a footbridge). The trail crosses over Town Farm Road, then travels along a small woods road out to Fryer's Field. From here, the trail either follows Fosterville Road or a nondescript path through Fryer's Field. Continue along Fosterville Road until you reach Knapp Road, where the trail turns left. The trail turns left (off Knapp Road), and continues to the Holt Pond Trail.

Fungi: Birch Polypore, Tinder Polypore.
Fauna: Chickadees.
