Overview

This trail goes through wondrous green tunnels over the trail, along the Bartram Trail up to a nice viewpoint overlooking mountains before reaching the summit of Scaly Mountain.

Description

Mostly singletrack, in good condition, there are areas of trail through creek beds and over rocky terrain. Well-shaded and a number of nice tunnels from tree growth over the trail. There is some decent elevation change, but mostly manageable. Easy parking off of US107 outside of Highlands.
