Need to Know
This can be a hard trail to follow because it goes through the Disc Golf Course with its many paths to its holes. This is the only reaons I rated it a 2 star trail, otherwise it would have gotten 3 stars.
Description
East Hawkhaven Trail is found on the left/north around the 0.1 mile mark along
Majestic Passage, just before a little wooden bridge over North Fork of Spring Creek. It is marked with a little orange sign.
The trail follows North Fork of Spring Creek upstream through the stately cedars and hemlocks. And also through the many paths to the holes of the Disc Golf Course. Stay close to the creek to run East Hawkhaven Trail. At the 0.15 mile mark, the trail does a U-turn to the left, but it is right in the middle of Disc Golf Course paths here. This U-turn is near hole #16 of the Disc Golf Course.
To pick up the trail, at the U-turn head uphill, away from the creek until meeting up with a true singletrack trail. Go left onto this singletrack to complete the U-turn and continue on East Hawkhaven Trail.
At about the 0.25 mile mark, the trail goes up a couple switchbacks and emerges from the forest into an open, grassy area next to hole #6 of the Disc Golf Course, Continue straight to meet up with
Stormking Parkway where East Hawkhaven Trail ends.
Flora & Fauna
Beautiful forest with majestic western red cedars, hemlocks, other trees, and undergrowth vegetation.
