This is a great loop if you happen to pass or stop by the village of Villeseque des Corbieres. The loop starts from the city hall and goes through the village, which is quite lovely.

You then make your way through the various small vineyards, while ascending to the plateau. Do not hesitate to pause during your ascent and turn around – the Pyrenees will start appearing in the distance.

Once on the plateau, continue on a long fire access road. The road goes through a wind turbine park (there are no fences). In the distance, one side greets you with views onto the Mediterranean sea, another with Pyrenees views again.

Then, start your descent, back to the village. Be careful – the last leg of the loop uses the local road. There should be little to no traffic.

The trail is somewhat well marked: you'll have to rely on the painted signage only. The trail is easy to follow no matter what.

Possible wild boards or/and dears. During spring and summer, there are lavenders and mimosas bushes as well as various mountain flowers.
