Trail running friendly
Description
The trail starts from the abandoned village of Perellos – worth a quick visit if you have time. When ready, follow the road down the village until the fire access road starts, on your left. The trail follows that fire access road the whole time. The road is in good condition as it is used by the weather station, located at the summit.
The ascent is not challenging – it is a very progressive climb. You are rewarded with spectacular views onto the nearby valley and the distant Pyrenees and Mediterranean sea. In the distance, you can also see the nearby Salveterra and Opoul castle.
The trail ends at the weather station. There, you have a 360º viewpoint of the local area.
