Overview

This is a cool trail out of Issaquah that grants you a healthy dose of nature as well as a workout. It ascends Squak Mountain through thick forest on a well-trodden trail, and culminates at a clearing with a perfect view of Mount Rainier if the day is clear.

Description

Margaret's Way trail makes a meandering ascent on wide trail at first, then narrows and steepens as it gets higher on the mountain. Eventually, the twists turn into switchbacks, but this means you're nearing the top. Connect briefly with Chybinski Loop, taking a right turn and then another right turn for Perimeter Loop Trail. A short distance here will bring you to Debbies View Trail and finally to the overlook.
