Plowboy Camp Spur is marked by a sign at the 2.6 mile mark along Navigation Trail #291.

Descending gradually through the forest with lake views, Plowboy Camp Spur soon crosses a small creek. Just ahead, the first of several good tent spots is on the left. Continuing on, one passes several more tent spots, picnic tables, bear lockers, and small sandy beaches. This camp also has a toilet (bring toilet paper).
