This trail that combines the Prusik Trail #6714 and an unnamed trail is best for overnight campers in the Core Zone. You'll start at Perfection Lake and end at Leprechaun Lake.

Starting from the northernmost end of Perfection Lake, the trail leads you straight towards Prusik Pass at the base of Prusik Peak. Even in early July, the trail is initially difficult to navigate as the snow covers streams and cairns. But unique views await those who persevere. Shield and Earle Lake appear in front of you, hidden from other backpackers and thru-hikers. To your right, Prusik Peak towers over Temple Lake and Lake Viviane. Behind you, McCellan Peak stands proudly as Leprechaun Lake bends around the peninsula. To your left, you can appreciate a "perfect inspiration" from the Middle Enchantments, beneath Little Annapurna.

When you are ready to descend, an unnamed trail leads you straight towards Leprechaun Lake. The descent from Prusik Pass is as steep, if not steeper, than Prusik Trail. After you pass Gnome Tarn, you'll follow the cairns on the ridge as you enjoy a view of Snow Lakes as well as an obstructed view of Leprechaun Lake.
