This trail leads to Mashtocner Chapel, built in the 9th century by Catholicos Mashtots Yeghivardetsi. From the chapel, the trail continues to Sonasar Peak, where you can pause at a viewpoint bench to take in the stunning views of Lake Sevan. From the peak, you can either extend your run to the Sevan Botanical Garden or return to where your journey began at Mashtocner Chapel.
