This park is open daily from 5 AM to 10 PM. The Visitor Center is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM. It's turf trails are open for hiking until winter trail operations begin (typically after 2–3 inches of snowfall). There are no fees or permits required to use this park or park in its parking lots.

Need to Know

This trail passes two unsigned junctions with a trail that crosses sensitive marsh lands and is closed to hiking. This trail is only open to skiers when it is covered by snow in the winter.

Description

This natural surface (turf, mowed grass) trail loops between Trail Intersections 5 and 8 along the Lakeside Trail. It's a good way to extend your hike or trail run. This is a good trail for running and is particularly nice when it's alight with fall color in October.
