Description
This natural surface (turf, mowed grass) trail starts at Trail Intersection 3 with the
Poplar Creek Trail and goes south to Trail Intersection 5 with the
Upper Ironwood Trail, turns north past Trail Intersection 8 with the other end of the
Upper Ironwood Trail. It crosses the paved bike trail at Trail Intersection 9 and continues north to end at the dirt access road to Cleary Point. Access to the lake is available at Cleary Point and there's a trail connecting the Point with the large parking lot near the Visitor Center. This is a good trail for running and is particularly nice when it's alight with Fall color in October.
