Need to Know
Parking and portable restrooms are available at Bison Park as well as the trailhead parking lot on Coachline Road. Trail users can connect to the trail network at Philip S. Miller Park on the east side at Wolfensberger Road via a pedestrian overpass.
Visitors can take in views of the Front Range to the west and the Town below as they traverse through valleys, ridgelines, open grassland and dense Gambel's Oak on the 367-acre open space property. This trail system connects to a network of paved trails and open space throughout The Meadows and Red Hawk developments, providing a great hiking and mountain biking location.
Description
The singletrack unpaved trail system is divided into four interconnected, colored loops of moderate difficulty. The main outside loop, Stewart Trail, is 9.5 miles in length with mileage markers every 0.5 miles. There is good signage and maps at many key intersections. Paved connections offer access to surrounding neighborhoods.
The Yellow loop has a mix of scenic views on the southern portion and neighborhood to the north.
