Overview

This route is a short run to the Suspension Bridge spanning Bear Canyon. The terrain is good for all ages, including children, who will enjoy making their way across the bridge.

Description

The first half mile of the run is mostly uphill as you climb switchbacks to get onto the Bonneville Shoreline Trail on the appropriately named Bonneville Shoreline Access Trail. You'll pass an intersection with the Aqueduct Trail on your way to the BST. The trail is mostly rock and sand so closed-toe shoes are recommended.

From there, runners will continue on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail: Corner Canyon Connector (C3), which leads right to the bridge. There is little-to-no shade, so come prepared with hats and sunscreen and try to avoid the hottest times of the day.
