There is a $5 parking fee at Amicalola State Park unless you have a Georgia State Parks annual pass.

Description

This trail departs from the upper parking area at Amicalola Falls State Park. Start out on the AT approach trail (blue blazes), and take the fork right towards the Len Foote Hike Inn. There are green blazes marking the Hike Inn Trail. The trail reaches the Len Foote Hike Inn at approximately 5 miles. Continue on for another mile to reach the blue-blazed AT Approach Trail again.

Did this from the Visitor Center to Springer Mtn and back down the Hike Inn Trail. Dry and hot which made it somewhat of a hard day. Beautiful scenery 18mi
