Need to Know
Please note this area, especially around Lenape Lake, is crisscrossed with many un-blazed trails. A map or the
Trail Run Project mobile app is highly recommended in order to make sure you are heading in the desired direction.
Description
This short, 0.6-mile trail is quite scenic and affords a great alternative to a rather mundane section of the
Mt. Minsi Fire Road.
Singletrack throughout, the trail first passes on the southbound side of Lenape Lake before heading uphill towards an open expansive of exposed bedrock, called Table Rocks. Without blazes to guide the way, it is easy to get a little lost in the Table Rocks area. A short while later. the trail ends as it intersects with the
Mt. Minsi Fire Road.
Flora & Fauna
Typical North Jersey hardwood forest with an inordinate amount of Rhododendron bushes.
