East Loop

This loop starts from the northeast corner of the West Loop and continues east and north through a different portion of the wilderness area. The trail is primarily doubletrack and well well maintained, with trail markers to provide a guide at intersections. Note that portions of this trail, especially along the southern portion of the loop, cross some very low-lying terrain and are often flooded during the Summer and Fall. Most of the eastern and northern portions of the loop follow the fence-line marking the edge of the wilderness area, with some views into open pasture land to the north. However, most of the trail does travel through wooded areas which provide good shade throughout.
